According to Sensor Tower's data, the top five social networking applications on a unified platform included Threads, Telegram Messenger, WhatsApp Messenger, Google Meet, and Facebook.

Threads from Instagram, Inc., experienced fluctuations in its weekly downloads, peaking at 9.9K in mid-July and then stabilizing around 7K towards the end of September. The app maintained a consistent level of user engagement with weekly active users ranging from approximately 46K to over 51K by the end of the quarter.

Telegram Messenger showed a robust increase in weekly revenue, culminating in around $7.8K in the final week of September. Its downloads varied, starting at 17.5K and dropping to 8K by quarter's end. However, the app consistently engaged a large user base, maintaining over 450K weekly active users throughout the period.

WhatsApp Messenger saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, starting strong at over 16K in early July and settling around 7.6K by the end of September. It continued to be highly popular, with weekly active users hovering near 1.9M, reflecting its entrenched position in the market.

Google Meet experienced a decline in downloads, from 3.3K initially to about 2.3K at the quarter's close. Despite this, the app's weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 160K and 170K, indicating steady engagement among its user base.

Facebook from Meta Platforms, Inc., displayed a consistent performance with weekly revenue peaking at nearly $5K by the end of September. Download numbers showed a downward trend from 18.6K to 8.8K, yet it maintained a strong presence with approximately 1.9M weekly active users.
